General

1. Ed Riehl takes the privacy of users, members and customers seriously. This policy covers how we deal with email addresses and other personal information collected.

2. This privacy policy applies to the Ed Riehl website, and the information we collect on registration.

Children

1. Due to strict laws on collecting personal information from children, nobody under the age of 13 may register as an authorized user (with certain privileges such as commenting, creating content, etc), but can certainly browse as an anonymous user.

2. Young people between the age of 13 and 18 can register provided they have parental permission to do so. We take this on trust: by signing up you agree that you do have parental permission if neccessary as determined by your age.

Personal Details

1. Registration for an Ed Riehl website account requires a few details about yourself, including (but not limited to) a valid email address. We promise these will never knowingly be released, given, traded or sold to any third parties.

2. Ed Riehl will never use the information you provide for anything other than Ed Riehl or website business unless you request or allow us to do so.

3. Should we find you to be breaking the law in a serious manner, we reserve the right to pass information on to legal authorities as requested.

4. Information will also be released on receipt of a subpoena, court order, or other legal action.

Cookies

The Ed Riehl website may set one or more cookies on your computer or on the computer of anyone accessing our website. We guarantee these cookies will not be for anything more than remembering sign-in details, usernames, or tracking hits. You may block or remove these cookies from your computer if you wish, but please be aware that non-acceptance of the login cookie will deny you access to your admin panel.

Account Changes

1. You may change your account details at any time through the admin area of your account. The privacy policy is applicable for both past and present information entered.

2. If you request removal of your account or deletion of your account, your details will be removed from the server.

3. If an account is removed by our website for violation of our Terms of Service, we may keep details on record in case of future legal action.

4. Any changes to your personal details (such as new email address) should be changed by you through the admin area of your account to allow us to update our records.

Emails and Global Contact

1. Ed Riehl may occasionally contact all users regarding updates, any planned downtime, or any other website related information, as well as any opt-in media (such as a newszine) that we may introduce in the future.

2. Ed Riehl will not contact users with commercial solicitations, third party solicitations, or any other information we deem inappropriate.

Datacenter

The datacenter hosting the Ed Riehl website is secure from unauthorized physical and/or virtual access (via perimeter barriers, security force, security system, CCTV, biometric readers), and your information is secure from unauthorized intrusion.

Please note: On registering for an account, you are legally bound by the terms outlined in this document regardless of whether or not you have read it.

1. As a customer, member, or user of the Ed Riehl you are bound by these Terms of Service. Interpretation and/or constitution of a violation of these Terms is determined by Ed Riehl staff.

2. These Terms of Service may change without prior notice at the discretion of the Ed Riehl staff.

3. Use of the website is provided as is and in good faith. The Ed Riehl staff may discontinue services at any time, with or without notice.

4. On registering for an account, you agree to indemnify us from any potential liabilities or legal action at any point in time.

Website Usage

1. Your use of the website constitutes agreement with all of the above and following Terms of Service.

2. Any user-created content may NOT contain any illegal content, pornography, hacking/cracking information or tools, spam promotion, pyramid schemes, fraudulent content, or hate material. However, material perceived as obscene may be appropriate, provided it is intrinsic to valid artistic expression, so it is a contextual and subjective judgement solely at the discretion of Ed Riehl - Any such "obscene" content not passing the Ed Riehl 'litmus test' will be unpublished or deleted, and violators will be warned and suggestions made to - Habitual repeat offenders will have their accounts deleted, and their IP and MAC addresses banned.

3. Because we collect personal information about registered users, registered users must be age 13 or over with parental permission. By signing up for a registered account and agreeing to these Terms of Service you agree that you are either 18 or over, or 13 or over with parental permission. Nobody under the age of 13 may sign up for an account (but can certainly browse anonymously, and are encourage to do so).

4. Registered users should notify us on change of email address by updating their details from the administration panel of their account.

5. Any breach of these Terms of Service puts your account at risk of deletion.

6. Use of the website is free.

7. Use of the website is at your own risk.

8. Ed Riehl may withdraw service at any time without notice.

9. Ed Riehl may in the future alter the website and/or content without prior notice to users.

10. We are not responsible for content, however if you know of website content which violates our Terms of Service we encourage you to report it to a member of the Ed Riehl website staff.
